Oh dear...
I was checking out my counter stats and was a bit surprised to see that someone found my blog by doing a Google search for "post-pregnancy vagina image".
Yikes!
I would like to clarify, though, that you will find none of those here.
Ouch!
So I'm playing this game with Jake yesterday where he runs down the hallway, thinking I'm chasing him. He squeals and takes off running. It's adorable. Then I jump out of his sight, around the corner. As he comes running back down the hall to see where I am, I jump out and shout "boo!". He loves it. He squeals and giggles and we can repeat the process endlessly without it getting old. For him, anyway.
So I'm doing my jump-out-of-sight bit, when I miscalculate the jump. I slam myself into the corner of the wall and feel the pain radiate through my upper arm, shoulder and thigh. For the sake of Jake's excitement, though, I still jump out and "scare" him; I'm just grimacing while I do it.
The game was over after that, as I sat down and tried to convince myself that my arm couldn't be broken. It hurt that much.
Anyway, sure enough, my arm is not broken, but hell is it bruised! And sore. Here, you can see where I hit the wall...

Sympathy? Anyone?

Google Adsense
I use Google Adsense on all my websites and I love it! It's a pay-per-click service that provides ads targetted to your website content. Every time someone clicks on an ad, you get paid.
I log in every day to see how much has been added. We receive our first cheque for over $100 recently.
So, if you have a website, get Google Adsense!
Have your digital photographs printed and sent directly to your door! We use Bonusprint and they've been amazing. In fact, we ordered pictures for my in-laws the other day and they received them 2 days later.
Various photograph sizes are available, from as low as 7p each. Shipping is cheap too. Or order your pics on a mug, a t-shirt, a mousemat, a jigsaw puzzle, etc.
I've used their service numerous times and always had a good experience. Oh, and they'll ship worldwide too.
All together now!
I turned 33 today. Where does the time go? I was just saying to my Dad today (when he called to wish me a Happy Birthday) that I remember being a kid and being so put out by the thought of waiting an hour for something. An hour was an eternity. Now, it's a blink.
I used to be able to say "I'm 16 and a half years old" without even thinking about it. Now, when I'm asked my age (which is becoming less and less frequent - as one never asks an adult woman her age... or her weight, for that matter) , I have to calculate: 2005 minus 1972... ummmm... I've got it! I'm 33!
Anyway, it's been a nice day, with cards, gifts, phonecalls and emails. As always, my family has made me feel very special.
Anybody know...?
Does anybody know who sings the song from the TV ad for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease? The ad is Canadian, so I might not have much luck asking here.
The song's real catchy though!
And I can't find anything on the internet about it.

Cutie-pie!
I went out onto the front porch today to take pictures of the first snowfall...

I turned around to come back into the house and there was Jake, waiting for me with his nose pressed up against the glass...

Awwwwwww!
